Born in St. Petersburg, pianist Marina Goshkieva is one of the most remarkable artistic personalities of her generation. Her exceptional talent was recognized and nurtured early on. Today, she captivates audiences worldwide as a soloist, chamber musician, and artistic collaborator.

Her path led from the renowned music school in St. Petersburg to Germany’s leading universities, including the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar and the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. She graduated with the highest honors and received scholarships from prestigious foundations.

Marina Goshkieva is a multiple prizewinner of international piano competitions. Her artistic depth, technical mastery, and emotional authenticity have been praised by the press – the Fränkische Landeszeitung wrote of her “artistic sincerity to which no one can remain indifferent.”
Today, Marina lives in Berlin, performs across Europe, gives masterclasses, and passionately devotes herself to nurturing young musical talents. Her artistry unites virtuosity, experience, and a profound love of music – both on stage and in the teaching studio.

Roots in St. Petersburg – Musical maturity in Germany

Marina Goshkieva received her foundational training in St. Petersburg – a city that has embodied musical excellence for centuries. Her early teachers, Eleonora Grudinova and Tatjana Zagorovskaya, laid the foundation for her artistic path.

She later continued her studies in Germany with Prof. Arne Torger and Prof. Rolf-Dieter Arens in Weimar, as well as Prof. Kirill Gerstein in Stuttgart, where she completed both her Master’s degree and Concert Diploma with distinction

Artistic work as soloist, chamber musician, and educator

Marina Goshkieva performs in renowned concert halls across Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Capella Hall St. Petersburg, Weimarhalle, Palau de la Música Valencia, and Centro Cultural Valladolid.

Masterclasses with world-renowned artists such as Ferenc Rados, Alfred Brendel, András Schiff, and Dmitri Bashkirov have shaped her artistic approach. In chamber music, she was deeply inspired by Gerhard Schulz and Eberhard Feltz.

As a dedicated educator, Marina has taught at the Franz Liszt University of Music Weimar, the Berlin University of the Arts, and the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin.

Today, she continues her pedagogical work through private lessons and international masterclasses.
